Mt. Carmel Elementary School is dedicated to providing the very best education possible for all its students, including students in military families.

Our school celebrates military recognition events such as:

Mt. Carmel's Student 2 Student organization is ready to welcome and support all military students and families.

The Alabama State Department of Education awards the Purple Star designation to schools that demonstrate military-friendly practices and a commitment to military students and families. Mt. Carmel Elementary was designated an ALSDE Purple Star School in April 2022.
